I worked in the Building Management Control Sysytems Industry for 30 years

After years of maintaining my own and friends bikes I trained as a cycle mechanic in 2006, completing the Park Tool course at Downland Cycles and one to one training with accredited instructor Dan Goodbourn.

I have worked with British Triathlon as an age group team mechanic since 2007.

Covered numerous European races (including Ironman), transporting and delivering athletes bikes and providing mechanical support throughout the race weekend.

Worked with Dan Goodbourn providing bike maintenance courses and servicing across the UK.

I have competed in multisport events since 1989 and represented GB at long course distance for 6 years in the age group divison.
